Johnny Smooth entered the Baltimore music scene in 1997 as a solo musician and has since established himself as one of Fells Point's top solo artists. Classically trained in piano and trumpet, Johnny's musical talents spilled over into popular music, and he quickly realized that chicks dig musicians. His early experiences as a keyboard player/vocalist in just about every local cover band under the northeast Mississippi sun provided him with the opportunities to hone his musical skills and stage presence and to impress chicks; but more importantly it whet his appetite for performing. Once music gets you, it gets you. After a much too long hiatus, Johnny returned to playing, but this time no band, no synthesizers - just a guitar and a microphone. And chicks. |
